Established in 1956, Champagne Chassenay d’Arce is defined as a genuine winegrowers’ Champagne House. Its major assets allow it to make the most out of the area’s terroir:

An alliance of skills, diversity of blending options, ensuring the perfect choice, a heritage of 60 years experience, modern installations, always in search for development.

Chassenay d’Arce is still present today, thanks to an undeniable cooperative spirit. Each member does what he does best to boost the entity’s overall excellence. Three generations later, at present, the spirit of the pioneers of 1956 is still strong, and the desire to take action even stronger.

Each winegrower is an ambassador for the brand name.

Our visit was spectacular despite our poor timing. We arrived just after the harvest had come to a close and after the last load of grapes had been unloaded and put in the presses. On the other hand we had a private tour with our guide, Clothilde, who was very informative. After our tour we had the most valuable tasting that I have experienced with nuanced descriptions of each of the bottles we tasted concentrating on the differences in the blending and the role of each grape variety in the mix. We were then treated to a delicious lunch at a local scenic restaurant where the food was excellent and of course accompanied by a fine bottle of Chassenay d’Arce brut. My wife and I travelled nearly two hours from Épernay for the tasting but we would gladly do it again.
