Enjoy a GERMAN guided tour and visit the magnificent cellars of Champagne House Pommery in Reims. The huge big and beautiful staircase with 116 steps will lead you to the impressive cellars (30 meters deep) where you will discover the secrets of Pommery. An elevator is available for those with mobility problems.
Discover the house's fascinating history, from the creation of its first champagne brut in 1874 to the construction of its incredible Elizabethan-style estate and invites you to discover its cellars and the chalères, true underground cathedrals dating back to the Gallo-Roman era. We had a very nice and competent guide on the tour, who accompanied us through the cellar. afterwards we enjoyed two glasses of champagne (of the same variety). it would have been ideal if we could try different varieties, but this was not offered, the glasses were already filled.

We did the German tour. Our tour guide Emma did a fantastic job. She explained very well and helped us with all of our questions. Even after the tour she helped us with the different kinds of champagne.
Highly recommend this tour.
