Description

Art and expertise meet in this experience to offer you a remarkable tasting experience.

Your tour will begin with a thorough exploration of our cellars, where our professional team of guides will be delighted to narrate the rich history of our extraordinary chalk pits, which are over 2000 years old, and are certified as a UNESCO world heritage site.

This moment of discovery will be an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the unique taste of the Taittinger blend, where chardonnay, the original signature of our house, is at the heart of every cuvée, and proposes an aromatic and unique delicacy.

You will be invited to discover all the subtleties of our champagnes, surrounded by exceptional artwork, allowing a sensory tasting experience of three of our beautiful cuvées, which are at once emblematic and prestigious: le Brut reserve, le Prelude Grands Crus, and Comtes de Champagnes Blanc de Blancs.

Program of the visit:

  • A video presentation about our house
  • Guided tour of our 4th century Gallo-Roman chalkpits and cellars certified as a UNESCO World heritage site, and the remains of the 13th century St Nicaise Abbey
  • Explanations about the elaboration of our champagnes
  • Tasting in one of our private tasting rooms: Brut Reserve, Preludes Grands Crus and our Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs with a more in-depth presentation based on the artistic culture of Champagne Taittinger

Taittinger champagne is delicious! With the Comte tour we tasted incredible wines. The cellars were amazing. Our guide, Chloe, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and enjoyable.

We had a fabulous time at Taittinger. Clo was a wonderful guide who shared the history of the region as well as the history and philosophy of Taittinger. Her passion for Taittinger was very clear and the crayeres were amazing. The guided tastings of 3 champagnes from non vintage to Grand Cuvée vintage was also brilliant. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

We had a nice time doing a cave tour and tasting. A bit pricey for what you experience.

We enjoyed our visit a lot but had one disappointment. The final audio visual poem did not include an Australian flag. Many Australians were killed in France during that war and it was not acknowledged.

Justina was our tour guide and she was incredible. Very fun and knowledgeable. And the caves are so cool! Different than any other tour I've be on. We would do it again
