Description

Experience Champagne William Saintot up close and visit the family estate. During the tour, you’ll see the press, the cuverie, and the traditional cellars, where over 130,000 bottles are aging, safely protected from light.

You’ll follow the champagne-making process step by step: from the harvest, through vinification, to the bottling.

The tour concludes with a tasting of six cuvées, giving you the chance to discover the flavor and characteristic style of Avenay Val d’Or.

The visit was nice and selle manager, also Champagne range very interesting. Very disappointing to discover that we were to be charged for tasting despite what is clearly stated in their website that tasting is offered when you buy at least 3 bottles per person, as we did!

Thank you for your feedback. Our guided tours have always been charged. However, we no longer waive the tasting fee. This policy allows us to keep our Champagne prices stable despite rising costs and the growing number of visitors, which means a significant number of bottles are opened for tastings. The tour was interesting and intimate, and the tasting of 6 champagnes gave us a good understanding of the effect the different steps and processes will have on the wine. Would very much recommend!

My wife and I visited this Champagne house during our honeymoon and wow, right from the very get go we were welcomed a lovely young lady and the detail that she provided was so impressive. We got to learn and see the champagne making process intricately from vine to bottle. Ending the tour with a 6 glass tasting experience. A perfect way to spend 2 hours. Highly recommended!
