Ambonnay, one of the five best grands crus in Champagne, is located in the heart of the Côte des Noirs, on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. The slopes are renowned for the richness of their Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.

In 1870, Eugène Billiot, a miller by trade in Ambonnay, invested in vineyards when electricity was introduced. He saw the purchase of these lands as a source of prosperity for his descendants.
Champagne BILLIOT has been in existence since 1937; the original property belonged to Mr Louis BILLIOT, who then divided it among his descendants, the brothers and sisters of Henri Billiot.
In 1960, Champagne H. BILLIOT & Fils was founded by Henri, who invested and created the cellars at number 1 Place de la Fontaine, bringing access to the trade to the centre of the village.
Today, Laetitia, the fifth generation, welcomes you to discover our Champagnes and our passion.

Our estate covers 4.7 hectares, divided into eighteen plots, all located in our village in an ideal south-facing position. We are fortunate that all our cuvées are Grand Cru, but also pure Ambonnay.
The grape composition of the vineyards is approximately 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay.
All work on our plots is carried out in a responsible manner, always with a focus on quality and respect for traditional and environmentally friendly methods (ploughing, integrated crop protection, pruning according to the Chablis method, etc.).
Our wines are processed in the traditional way, without malolactic fermentation and without filtration.
