The grapes of boutique Champagne House Jacquinot et Fils are picked by hand and the harvest is done during 10 days in September by a team of 90 pickers.

The chalk cellar of Champagne Jacquinot et Fils, is dug by hand in 1873 and located at 19 meters below street level. Their wines are fermented and matured for a long time at 12°C before being riddled.

Enjoy an English guided Tour through one of the deepest cellars of Epernay and enjoy a Tasting of 3 Non Vintage Champagnes:

1 glass Blanc de Blancs
1 glass Blanc de Noirs

* The access to the cellar is only by a staircase of 106 steps to go down and up.

Excellent guide and very generous champagne tasting. Quite a steep climb back up from the cellar so wouldn’t recommend for people with poor fitness!

Fantastic tour in the cellar, fermentation tanks and working area and a great tasting afterwards. Our guide was a dedicated young woman who gave us new knowledge of the process of Champagne making and history of the region.

A highly recommended experience for anyone interested in champagne. Our host, Justine, was brilliant, guiding us through every step of the process from field to bottle. The cellar tour was followed by a detailed demonstration of the final stages, including freezing/removal sediment, and bottling/labeling of a cuvée. Everyone of the party found the experience fascinating. Having toured some of the big champagne houses, I can say this was the best. Their champagne is also exceptional!
