The grapes of boutique Champagne House Jacquinot et Fils are picked by hand and the harvest is done during 10 days in September by a team of 90 pickers.

The chalk cellar of Champagne Jacquinot et Fils, is dug by hand in 1873 and located at 19 meters below street level. Their wines are fermented and matured for a long time at 12°C before being riddled.

Enjoy an English guided Tour through one of the deepest cellars of Epernay and enjoy a Tasting of 3 Non Vintage Champagnes:

* The access to the cellar is only by a staircase of 106 steps to go down and up.

A fantastic experience from start to finish! The English-guided tour was very clear, insightful, and informative. We loved learning about the cellars and the craftsmanship behind each bottle. Sampling the 3 different champagnes at the end was the highlight—each had its own distinct character and was explained beautifully. A must-do if you are visiting the region!

Prima uitleg over champagne en de historie van het bedrijf. Rondleiding over het het bedrijf met bezoek aan de kelder. Na zo'n 108 treden bereik je de kelder op ongeveer 20 meter diepte bij een temperatuur van 12 graden. Afsluiting met proeverij van enkele champagnes. Na afloop van de proeverij kan je direct champagne kopen als je dat wil. Wij hebben 2 doosjes ingeslagen. Goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding. Diverse soorten champagnes te koop vanaf ongeveer € 25 per fles.
