The grapes of boutique Champagne House Jacquinot et Fils are picked by hand and the harvest is done during 10 days in September by a team of 90 pickers.

The chalk cellar of Champagne Jacquinot et Fils, is dug by hand in 1873 and located at 19 meters below street level. Their wines are fermented and matured for a long time at 12°C before being riddled.

Enjoy an English guided Tour through one of the deepest cellars of Epernay and enjoy a Tasting of 3 Non Vintage Champagnes:

1 glass Blanc de Blancs
1 glass Blanc de Noirs

* The access to the cellar is only by a staircase of 106 steps to go down and up.

The guide spoke English very well and was therefore able to explain the process in detail and answer any questions we had. Great seeing the process from the juice in the vats to it being bottled all by hand & stored in their magnificent lime caves. The champagne tasting was excellent with adequate sized samples.

This was the best tour we have been on. Our guide was excellent; nice, charming and great knowledge of champagne. The champagne tasting was very nice and we enjoyed every second and even got an extra treatment since it was our honeymoon. Would recommend to everyone and rate 10/5 if possible.

Het was heel interessant om te horen hoe het hele proces gaat. Heel indrukwekkend en kijk met een andere blik naar een fles champagne. Fijn verteld en mooie locatie. Later nog langs de druivenvelden gelopen, prachtig! Zeker de moeite waard!
