Experience the grape harvest up close and discover the journey of the grape, from the vineyard to your glass of Champagne.

Over the course of approximately two hours, you will go behind the scenes of our family-run Champagne house during the most intense and vibrant time of the year: the grape harvest.

• The experience begins in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Here, you will meet our family and discover the story of a family of winegrowers who have been passionately working the vineyards for five generations.
• We then visit one of our vineyards in Avize. You will see the ripe grapes up close and discover everything involved in the harvest: from grape maturity and bunch selection to the different stages of harvesting.
• We then travel in the Champagne house’s vehicle to our second production site in Cramant, following the journey of the freshly harvested grapes.

In Cramant, you will discover what happens to the grapes as soon as they arrive at the winery. You will see how the grapes are received, discover our press and learn about the different stages of pressing. We will explain why this precise and delicate process is so important for preserving the quality and character of the future wines.

Depending on the activity of the press at the time of your visit, you may also have the opportunity to taste freshly pressed grape juice, before fermentation begins. A rare and fleeting experience that allows you to discover the fruit in its purest and most immediate form.

The visit then continues in the winery, where you will discover the first stages of the transformation of the grape juice: from settling and fermentation to the further development of the wines.

Finally, we return to Avize, where the experience concludes with a tasting of several Champagnes from the house.
