It reminds us of the tradition of sabring, inherited from many regiments, including Napoleon’s hussars. To celebrate their victory, they opened bottles of champagne with the flat side of their sabre. A symbol of joy and victory, the sabre underlines the magic of champagne. Come and take part in this tradition in the Domaine’s beautiful park.
This great activity includes a FRENCH guided Tour of the cellars, initiation, bottle of champagne, a tasting and a presentation of the Sabreur diploma.
-A visit that allows you to explore part of the House’s six kilometres of cellars and discover the main stages of the production of our champagnes. A tour of the vineyard will complete your visit if the weather is good.
-An initiation in the practice of sabering with a technical explanation, in Canard-Duchêne park.
-A tasting of the sabered bottle
– animals are only allowed in the reception area and boutique
