In 2006, he started cultivating biological and biodynamic wines. Hugues opens up a new reflection on the respect for the natural equilibrium of wine-growing, the environnemental effects and the wellbeing of human kind.

This philosphy and the size of the vineyard; 40 hectare of vineyards spreaded across the four villages of the Montagne de Reims: Verzenay, Verzy, Villers-Marméry en Villedommange. Hugues Godmé develops Champagnes with the subtility and intensity of the soil from which they sprout.
